Obituary of Zaharenia Catsamoundis

At L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, Zaharenia Catsamoundis of London in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Catsamoundis. Loving mother of Athanasios & his wife Sophia, Socrates & his wife Cathy and George & his wife Maria all of London. Loving grandmother of Zahareni (Reni) & her husband Tasso Georgallidis and Michaelle Catsamoundis all of London, Helen & her husband Dennis Selinas of London, England, Michael Catsamoundis, Zahareni & her husband Adolfo Baprena and Patricia & her husband Richard Trotter all of London and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Stefanis Hagistefanis of Greece and predeceased by brothers Panagiotis and Elias. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Thursday at 8:00 p.m. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
