Obituary of Catherine "Cathy" Hooper

Hooper, Catherine Hazel Peacefully, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on September 24, 2017, Catherine "Cathy" Hooper (nee Hann) passed away, at the age of 72. She was predeceased by her husband Bryan "Casey" Hooper in 2003 and her dear grandson Trent (2005). Cathy will be missed by her children Barb (Andrew) Davies, Helena (Keith) Jones, John Hooper, and Sophia (Dave) Matthews. Cathy and Casey were also loving foster parents to Terry Banks and Sheila Zandri. Nan leaves behind her grandkids Sean and Cody, Samantha, Danielle and T.J, Chaz-Marie and Paige, and Mackenzie, and her great-grandchildren, Austin and Colton, Trent and Troy, Hailey and Joshua, Sam and two more on the way. Also left to mourn are her sister Deana Hann and brother Bob Hann. She was predeceased by her siblings Garfield and Albert Hann. As per Cathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Close friends and family are welcomed to a celebration of Cathy’s life on Thursday, September 28, at 11 am, at 15398 Putnam Rd., Springfield.
