Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy, Katherine Jean (Gammage) Dampier of Arva in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Dampier (1998). Beloved mother of Bill and his wife Chris Dampier of Arva. Loving grandmother of Katherine and her husband Carlton Nixey, Leslie and her husband Jamie Thomas and John and his wife Lucy Dampier and 7 great grandchildren Matthew, Jeremy, Sarah, Scott, Melanie, Nikolas and Mikaela. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren Shane and Stephanie. Dear sister of Frances Rankin and predeceased by brother William Gammage. Funeral service will be held at St. John the Devine Anglican Church, 21557 Richmond St., Arva on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Susan Baldwin officiating.
