Obituary of Vamvakaris Constantin
Surrounded by the love of his family Constantin (Gus) passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Victoria Hospital, in his 81st year.
Born in Athens, Greece and beloved husband of Vasiliki (Bessy). Loving father of Penelope of Chicago and Michael and his wife Lilly of Oakville. Also missed by his grandchildren Vanessa and Mikayla. Survived by his sister Maria of Australia, brother Jack, sister Lisa, brother Nondas and his wife Roula all of London and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Kleanthi, his brother Nicholas, brother-in-law Peter, sister-in-law Maria and brother-in-law Christopher.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Wednesday from 2 - 4 p.m. only. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
