Obituary of Lirika Abi-Khalil
With sadness and heavy hearts the Abi-Khalil and Mestani families announce the courageous passing of their wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Lirika Abi-Khalil on December 3, 2015 in London, Ontario at the age of 39.
Lirika was the beloved wife of Eli for 13.5 years. Mama will be deeply missed by her son Marcus. Also left to mourn are her parents Mestan and Belka Mestani, her sisters Benita (Sabri) Sulejmani, Nora (Rezart) Morina and Alberta (Steven) Griecci and her in-laws Rafic & Anna Abi-Khalil. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Lirika was predeceased by her grandparents Naime Mestani and Alit and Lytfie Veliu, Angel and Tanios Abi-Khalil and Youssef and Shafika Farhat and her best friend Silvia Santos.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10 a.m.
Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Lirika's name are asked to consider the Women's Community House or the London Regional Cancer Program.
