Obituary of Barbara Catharine Speare

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, Barb passed away in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Denley Speare (2012) for 62 years. Loving mother of Dann (deceased), Christopher, Jennifer (Cliff) & Lori (Len); grandmother of Melissa, Danielle, Virginia, Katie, Michael, David, Georgia & Tori and great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Delores (Don) Wilson & the late James Crawford. Survived by sister-in-law Lillian Crawford and many nieces, nephews & friends. Barb dedicated her life to her family & cherished her time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 10am (Please meet at the front office by 9:50am). Donations to the London Humane Society or the Salvation Army – Day Program would be appreciated by the family.
