I have warm memories of both Jean and Dr. Coote, when I worked for them during the summer of 1969 as a dental hygiene student. They were kind gracious and helpful to me and to all their patients. With sincere sympathy, Nancy Holden

Thinking of you today as you commemorate Jean's life. I am remembering my first visit to 644 Baseline Rd.in London away back in Sept.1953. The highlight of my visit was going sailing with them on the lake. 50yrs.later in Apr/May 2003,I stayed at 644 again, only this time their house was not the last one on the road! While I was there Jean & Al were able to 'come home' to have a few meals in their kitchen nook & to enjoy some time in their yard. Marilyn, you came for a visit then also & you & Jean spent a lovely afternoon relaxing in lawn chairs & basking in the sun. And now, I am remembering visiting Jean with my Uncle Wes & my sister Irene in her nice little apartment just a little more than 2 years ago. I am thankful that Jean was so well cared for. You will miss her & the routine of visits etc., but at the sametime greatful that she enjoyed relatively good health until the very end of her life here on earth. No more sorrow, no more tears, she is Home. May you and your families find comfort in God's love and in knowing that you helped to make these last few years of Jeans life meaningful. God Bless, Joyce (The West Coast Coote Niece) Maybe this could be given to the Minister of Dundas St. United Church to be read out at the Memorial Service if there is to be a time for sharing personal memories.
