Obituary of James (Jim) Colligan

Passed away at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Thursday, October 14, 2010 after a lengthy battle with his health. Jim was in his 77th year; he was born on the 23rd of June 1934 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Agnes Colligan. Survived by his son Jim Nelson, sister-in-laws Charlotte and Maureen. Predeceased by his brothers Sandy, David and Harry, sisters Agnes and Jean. Jim was a millwright and had worked at the Ford Motor Plant, Talbotville. A Memorial Service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the ACE Unit on the 6th floor at the LHSC for the care and compassion given to Jim.
