Obituary of Marinus Wouter "Walter" Beijer

Peacefully, on Wednesday August 9th, 2017, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Maaike Beijer (1989). Cherished companion of Gwen Gurney and loving father of Martin (Christine) and Joanne (Scott) Aitcheson. Proud Opa of Akili Aitcheson. Brother in law of John Provily (Andrea 2014). Uncle of many nephews and nieces in London, BC, and Holland. Friend and mentor of Jim, Fred and Donald Parkins, as well as David (Lisa Barr) and Steven Gurney. This is an initiative that helps patients receiving care at LHSC London Regional Cancer Program pay for treatments not covered by OHIP, which they could not otherwise afford.
