Obituary of Roland Roberts

After a lengthy illness, at Parkwood Institute on Saturday, August 5, 2017, Roland Roberts of London and formerly of Windsor and Glace Bay N.S. in his 82nd year. Son of the late Roland and Kathleen Roberts. Beloved brother of Sheila Bailie and the late Joan, Bill and Art. Loving father of Lorna (Dennis), Kevin, Donna and the late Linda, Lloyd and Glen (Char). Cherished grandpa of Tanya (Steve), late Tina, B.J. and great grandpa of Reese, Brady, Destiny and Dallas. Dear uncle of Bill, Brian, Brad and Kathy. Rola nd’s family would like to express a special thank you to all of the nurses in palliative care at Parkwood for their care and compassion. In following with Roland’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Parkwood Institute.
