It's a terribly sad thing to lose someone so young and so vibrant. There will always be questions as to why? what happened? how could we have helped her? Sadly, it is too late for the beautiful Shelltina, a young lady who was really just beginning to really live her life...a life worth living. My deep condolences to her immediate family and friends and also to the her half-sister and half-brother, Santina Tatone and Agostino Tatone who loved her and will miss her very much.

I've been coming to terms with the fact I can't go downtown and visit you at all anymore... I've been telling myself that I'd come and see you sooner than later; that it would happen one day or another.. Earlier today I learned you've passed and there's no "see you later" or whatever left... and I feel like such a fool for thinking there was time. I pray that you're up there watching down on us and waiting until we meet again, in another life. Aakuluk, nalligijagit..
