Obituary of Donald Wayne "Don" Almon

Peacefully, with his family by his side at L.H.S.C., University Hospital on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, Donald Wayne "Don" Almon passed away at the age of 58. Beloved husband of 23 years and soul mate to Susan Almon. Loving father of Freedom Burgess (Dan Nowacki), Shyla Almon and Vanessa Foster (Sean Caldwell). Dear grandfather of Mackenzie, Alexandra, Marshall, Miley, Hunter, Lexie and Lilly. Survived by his siblings Ann (Chris) Storrie, Deb (Fred) Sammit and Mary (Kevin) Kennedy. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you is extended to aunt Bertha and Lee Fielder. Don was a devoted employee of Mobil Services where he worked for 17 years and was considered a second family to him. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at the Moose Lodge 1205, 6 Weston Street, London, Ontario on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Donations to the London Humane Society will be acknowledged by the family.
