Obituary of Penny Witherow

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Penny Witherow passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at the age of 69, at LHSC University Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton Witherow (1987). Penny is survived by her children Penny Smithers-Fortnum (Rob deVries) and Chris Smithers, her grandchildren Laurent, Candice, Alannah,Tyler, Gage, Jarrod and Zac, her great-grandchildren Cailey and Kendra, and her siblings Alan (Cindy) Wilson, Johnny Wilson, and Barb (Gerry) Hooper. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank Wilson, Doug Wilson, her sister Mary Kinney, her parents Frank and Jean Wilson and her Gram Edith Wilson. Penny will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, November 18, 2013, at 11 am with Rev. Brian McKay officiating.
