Obituary of Philip Leroy Furtney

At L.H.S.C., University Hospital, on Friday, September 21, 2007, Philip Leroy Furtney, of London and Mexico, in his 70th year. Loving son of the late Alvin and Ethel Furtney. Survived by sons Scott and his friend Laura of Fort Erie, Ontario and Terry and Dorothy of Marilla, N.Y. and grandchildren Mary Grace, A.C. and Katie. Loving brother of Bruce and Noreen Furtney of London, Ontario. Fondly remembered by Dorothy McLeod of Fort Erie, Diane Furtney of Grand Bend and Celina Vizcaino of Ajijic, Mexico. Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Philip was predeceased by two brothers George (1988) and Albert (2006). At Philip’s request, there will be no visitation. A family graveside funeral will take place at a future date. Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation may do so through the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (433-6181).
