Obituary of Ruth Reynolds
On Thursday, November 27, 2003, after a heroic battle with cancer, Ruth Reynolds in Mississauga, which was her home for the past 10 years. Predeceased by her husband Jim Reynolds and her parents Joseph and Amie Mountenay. Deeply missed by her children Carol Rhodes (Darcy) Dingle, Bill Reynolds and friend Andrea Foster, Jan Reynolds, Karen Reynolds (Fred) Schakel and her grandchildren Jim Rhodes (Renee), Ashley, Matt, David, Kevin and Ian. Survived by her siblings Raymond Mountenay (Jean), Vylda Cowell, Jim Mountenay (Vera), Russell Mountenay (Jean) and many nieces and nephews. Remembered by Evelyn and Cora Reynolds, Howard Reynolds (Nora), Gordon Reynolds (Alma), Vern Reynolds (Jean). Dear friend to Judith Elliott. Ruth loved cats, gardening, music, cooking, books and watching TVO. She also loved winning at crosswords, scrabble and cards. Family and friends are invited to the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. for visitation on Friday December 5 from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at Logan Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family would greatly appreciate donations to Ruth's favorite causes: Animalert or other animal shelter or TV Ontario.
