Obituary of Sevasti Mihalopulos

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our wonderful Mother Sevasti Mihalopulos (nee Giouroukos). Peacefully, and surrounded by her loving family,on Tuesday, May 21st 2013 in her 97th year in Toronto; formerly, of London,Ontario. Sevasti was born in Garea, Tripolis, Greece and immigrated to London, Ontario in 1951. Loving wife of the late George John Mihalopulos (1987). Dear mother of Emily Anagnostis and her late husband John of London, Roni Bura of Kitchener, Mary Theofilopoulos of Pickering, and Jon Mihalopulos and his wife Georgina of London. Proud Yiayia to Petrina (Gaetan), Sevi (Ken), Christine, Constantine, Paul(Jennifer) , Ana-Maria (Stephen), George, Melissa, Margaret (Ben), George, Ted and Angelika and great-grandmother to Emmy, Oceane, Declan, Jana, Jasmine-Maria, Esprit and Zoie. Survived by her brother John Giouroukos of London. Predeceased by her brothers Steve, George, Sotirios and sisters Maria and Evangelia. Lovingly remembered my many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne) on Friday, May 24th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (131 Southdale Rd.) on Saturday May 25th, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
