Obituary of Sheila Helen Cairns (Zettel)

Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Monday, July 26, 2004, in her 58th year. She will be truly missed by her best friend, soul mate and husband, Daniel Cairns. Dear mother of Stephen Schumacher and his wife Rose, and Murray Schumacher and his wife Laura, all of London. Proud grandma of James and Haley Schumacher of London. She will be missed by her most caring, loving mother, Bertha Zettel, of Walkerton; her sister Rosemary Walter and her husband Jerry of Walkerton; brothers Harold Zettel of St. Thomas and Gary Zettel and his wife Connie of Walkerton; and her sisters-in-law Karen Zettel of Walkerton and Ann Springer and her husband Willie of London. Sheila will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, and a long list of very strong and supportive friends. Sheila is predeceased by her dad, Norbert Zettel (1980), brother Leon Zettel (1996), nephew Daryl Zettel (1970), Grandma and grandpa Charles Benninger (Catherine Meyer) of Formosa, and grandma and grandpa Zettel (Julia Montag) of Formosa, sister-in-law Marlene Zettel, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 11 am with Reverend Frank Mantz officiating. Cremation to follow. A service will be held at St. Peter's Holy Chapel Mausoleum, 806 Victoria Street, London, where Sheila will be laid in her final resting place on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 11 am with Reverend Frank Mantz officiating.
