My condolences to the family of Val. I do remember her and her picture is very lovely. I will ask my Council to make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association, in memory of Val. Dave lowered our flags to half mass in memory of Val when we heard the sad news.

It is with great sadness that I have heard of Val's passing. I recall my early years & the many visits to Val's & Dave's home in London to which I always received a warm welcome.Even though our contact has been sparse over the past many years, Val always remains in my fond memories. Dear Janice, Susan and David, I have just heard about your mother's passing away. Words cannot express my empathy for you at this time. We have had so many wonderful family times and memories over the years! Being the eldest cousin I certainly remember many get togethers and happy occasions in Aunty Val's kitchen. How kind and generous was Aunty Val. Always a smile and a chuckle for all of us! "Help yourselves" Aunty Val would say! Aunty Val always loved her family and friends and we were always made to feel loved and welcome! I am very saddened to hear that Aunt Val has been very ill over the last few months. I feel very encouraged to hear that Aunty Val was close to her Pastor and Bible Class. Dear Aunty Val --May God our loving Father wrap his loving arms around you as you are now with him for evermore! I am not able to go to the wake today as I have a bad throat/asthma issues but I am there in spirit!
