Dear Susan: I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. She had certainly lived to a ripe old age, or, in cricketing parlance, she had had "a good innings" but the actual moment of passing is always hard. I just wanted to send my sympathy to you and the rest of your family - may you draw comfort from your memories.
