It was as an adult that I grew closer to Verna and learned more about her. Her amazing sense of humor and her quick wit - we shared quite a few giggles. Oma was a great lady and I look back fondly at the many memories from the last years. My thoughts and prayers are with her children and her grandchildren - Verna will be sadly missed.
