Obituary of Bonnie Jean Monteith

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at LHSC, University Hospital, London, Bonnie Monteith passed away in her 62nd year.

 

Loving sister of Ron Monteith (Vanessa Magness) and Ellen Monteith (Arn Brown). Also remembered by Rick (Sandra) McIntyre, Vanessa Brown (Jason Dickson), Jack and Sam Winters along with her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Anne Monteith and infant sister Marnie.

 

Bonnie loved travelling and looking after her health. She will be fondly remembered for her insistence on a vegetarian lifestyle and her love for animals.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the 6th floor Cardiac unit and both Cardiac and regular ICU’s at LHSC, University Hospital for all their care and support.

 

Cremation has taken place.

 

Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 6-9 p.m.  Memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Evans Chapel.

 

Evans Funeral Home will be providing at livestream service at the time of the ceremony.

Interment of ashes will take place in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario at a later date.

 

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the London Humane Society in memory of Bonnie.
