Dear Rick and Ingrid: I am so saddened to learn of your dear Kaylie’s passing. While I only knew her for a short time while you were in Regina, it was evident at an early age that Kaylie was a bright child who more than anything else, was loved so deeply by her caring parents. May the memories of her many accomplishments provide your family with comfort in the days and years ahead! My sincest sympathies to the Green family. Terry Mann

My deepest condolences to Kaylie’s family and fiancé. I had the privilege and pleasure of supervising her work while she was still at University of Calgary as an undergraduate student.

My deepest condolences to Kaylie’s family and fiancé. Kaylie was a fantastic friend and wonderful officemate. I always enjoyed her cheerful good-mornings walking into the office, as well as our fun random conversations throughout the day and around the lunch table. I particularly enjoyed how she was always willing to engage in conversations about any topic whatsoever; they were often the highlight of my work day. Going in to work every day won’t be the same without her. I, and the entire physics and astronomy department at Western, will miss her deeply and remember her fondly.

I would like to send all my condolences to Kaylie's family and to her fiancé Kyle. Kaylie was in my research group at Western. I started my PhD this year, and Kaylie was always of good advice to me about the research world. I have known her only for half a year, but it was sufficient for me to appreciate the great person she was. I particularly liked her smile, her laughs, her wisdom and her serenity. I really enjoyed the conversations we had. I will never forget her. She will be greatly missed.
