Obituary of Harold Michael "Mike" Smith

Peacefully, after a short illness, at Victoria Hospital on Friday, March 10. 2017, Mike passed away in his 62nd year. Beloved father of Jessica. Cherished son of Harold & Donna Smith. Dear brother of Dave & his wife Brenda, Kim & her husband Tom Howard, Lori & her husband Steve Crocker and Mark. Beloved uncle of Mathew, Jeff, Stephanie, Ian, Alex & Brittany. Also survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins in Canada & the United States. Mike will be missed by his many 4 legged furry friends. He was a longtime employee of Accuride Canada. Nothing was better to Mike than being outdoors enjoying loud Classic Rock, a good BBQ, fishing or just being with nature and his family & friends that he loved. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
