Obituary of Nicolas Chaidemenos
Peacefully, at Parkwood Hospital, after a strong battle, with the love of his family by his side, on Sunday, October 29, 2023, Nicolas Chaidemenos passed away in his 84th year.
Beloved husband of Eugenia (née Krotseti). Loving father of Maria & John, Vaso & Dan and Spyros & Kathy. Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Damian & Alexia. Dear brother of Evridiki & Panteli and Athena & Gerry. Sadly missed by his godchildren, nieces, nephews & friends in Canada & Greece.
Born in Kefalonia, Greece, Nicolas immigrated to London, Ontario, Canada 57 years ago. Nicolas loved his faith, his family, his Greek heritage, Greek music and his work as a machinist.
Family & friends will be received for visitation from 12:30-1pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario. Funeral service will follow in the church on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care Unit – c/o St. Joseph’s Health Health Care Foundation in memory of Nicolas. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
A tree will be planted, by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home,
as a living memorial to Nicolas Chaidemenos
