Dear Karen and Family,
We are so saddened to hear the news of Jerry's passing. Dianne and I and our three children all have fond memories of Jerry from your days at the Luncheonette Cafe in the Selby Building. Our youngest now 33 used to sit in the high chair and later we used to come into the restaurant on Saturday mornings after early morning hockey practice. Jerry always seemed genuinely happy to see us and always made time to come out of the kitchen to say hello and talk with the kids.
You and Jerry and your children always make us feel at home. Our prayers are with you and please know we are thinking of you.

A true London Icon .. Jerry basically invented the Diner Experience in our city including starting and running Prince Albert's Diner for decades followed by many other successful ventures that he and Karen quickly made a success of and sold to whomever the lucky recipient were. The Luncheonette Cafe in The Selby building was like dining at home and no doubt to this day, where the Best Clubhouse sandwich was created and served with love. Those that had the privilege of meeting Jerry are so lucky and I along with my family and many friends were the fortunate ones. A real family man, hard and smart worker and never a complaint or an ill word. Saddened by the loss of such a hero. Our heartfelt condolences to you Karen, your children and much loved grandchildren. Jerry will be missed big time.

Dear Karen and family,
My sincerest sympathies to all of you on your great loss. Argiri and I would always joke as we shared the same name. He was a jovial, caring man who always asked about everyone. I’ll remember him sitting at the Cherryhill Mall on the bench when we would have our bake sales there and entertaining all of us. May he rest in peace, and reunite with his grandson in heaven. May his memory be eternal.
