Obituary of Clayton Paul Cornelius
Peacefully, with family by his side at home on Saturday, December 9, 2023, Clayton Paul Cornelius passed away at the age of 61.
Beloved partner of Marlene Jaques. Loving father of Valerie Cornelius (Justin Vermeulen), Patti Cornelius (Jesse Bruce) and Jesse Lazarus. Cherished gramps of Katie Cornelius and Trent Vermeulen. Great-poppa to Mason and Willow.
Dear uncle of Carter (Sam) Cornelius. Survived by his brothers Robert and Leroy. Greatly missed by his cousins Wes Lovell and Alex Lovell. Forever in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents Stanley George & Pauline Cornelius and his sisters Debbie & Donna.
Clayton will be fondly remembered for his love of dancing, arm wrestling, cruising in his truck and his fun, loving nature. He also enjoyed his “cookies”.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Saint Elizabeth and VON for all their care and support.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 12:00- 2:00 p.m.
Service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation to follow.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Chiros Care Foundation in memory of Clayton.

A tree will be planted, by the Evans Funeral Home, as a
