Obituary of Jack Vamvakaris
Peacefully, at LHSC, University Hospital on Friday, December 22, 2023, Jack Vamvakaris was reunited with the love of his life Mary, in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Mary Vamvakaris (née Giokaris). Loving father of Penny Vamvakaris and Patty (Mike) MacIntyre. Cherished papa of Natasha (Cailan), Sarah and Jacob. Dear brother of the late Kleanthi (the late Panayioti), Maria (the late Foti), the late Kosta (Vasiliki), the late Nicholas, Efthalia (the late Christopher) and Nondas (Roula). Forever in the hearts of his siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jack travelled to Canada from Greece in 1960 to join and marry his beloved Mary on July 10th of that year and begin their life together. Jack will be fondly remembered for his hard-working, generous nature with a deep devotion to his family. He and Mary worked tirelessly to give their daughters everything in life. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart and they were his pride and joy.

Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 7-9 p.m.
Prayers will be conducted in the Logan Chapel Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Terry Fox Foundation, Hope for Dementia or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Jack.

A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Jack Vamvakaris.
