Obituary of Glenn Christopher Squires
Glenn Christopher Squires, 67, of Toronto, Scarborough, Oshawa, Port Perry, Orillia, and Thamesville, died on January 6, 2024—fifteen months after a double lung transplant.
He was born in Toronto on July 29, 1956 to Joan Squires (née Sykes) and William Squires.
Glenn is survived by Margaret (née Pillinger), his wife of 43 years, and his beloved children Meaghan (John, Mary-Anne, Bryan, Star), Hilary (Christopher), Shelagh (Brogan, Raméa), and Daniel.
Glenn was passionate about blood donation—giving over 120 times! He was the grateful recipient of both blood products and donated lungs after he became ill. A commitment to give blood during your life or to give organs following your death is the very best way to honour Glenn's memory.
Friends and Family will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd., London. On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm. A celebration of Glenn’s life will follow in the Evans Chapel at 1 pm.
Evans Funeral Home will be providing a livestream service at 1 pm.
