Obituary of Benjamin Manuel Rivera

With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Benjamin Rivera on Friday, February 23, 2024 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital at the age of 33.

Greatly missed by the love of his life Summer Leavens. Cherished Dad of Kayden and Gabriel. Dear son of Rene Platero & Nora Tomé. Loving brother of Abel Tomé and Sam Tomé. Nephew of Reynaldo (Carmen) Platero and Nuria Platero. Cousin of Doris Platero, Eric Platero and Danny Acosta. Devoted son-in-law of Tammi Leavens. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and his many friends.

Ben will be fondly remembered for his devotion to his boys, love of animals, and amazing cooking ability. Ben’s smile lit the entire room and will be always remembered for his happy, loving nature.  

Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 12-1:30 p.m.

A time of eulogies & memory sharing will take place in the Logan Chapel at 1:30 p.m.

Logan Funeral Home will be providing a livestream service at the time of eulogies & memory sharing.

Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario.
