Obituary of Jean Hoyle
Peacefully, with family by her side, at Marian Villa, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, Jean passed away in her 92nd year. Loving mother of David (Jackie) Burnett, Larry Burnett, Rosemary (the late George) Swift & Susan (Larry) Osborn. Cherished "Nanny" of John, Jennifer, Ian and 6 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Margaret Holmes and predeceased by her parents Percy & Elizabeth Hoyle, brothers Thomas & Stanley Hoyle and sisters Mary Marsh & Clara Sprague. Also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Special thanks to all the staff & volunteers of the Dearness Day Program & at Marian Villa for their love & care of Jean over the past few years.
The family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10-11am. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will follow in the Evans Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Peter Hoyle, nephew of Jean, officiating. Cremation with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
