Obituary of Barbra Doreen Talbot
Barbra Doreen Talbot of London, Ontario, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 14th, 2024, at the age of 61. She was a cherished sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend to many, including her longtime best friend, Ray Vankroonenburgh.
As a resident at Henley Place, Barb was beloved for her kindness, becoming a favourite among the staff. It was there she met and formed a close bond with her newest best friend, Jess.
Her greatest joy came from her family, her late parents, George and Meg Talbot, her siblings, Eleanor and Clarke, Ron and Wanda, her nieces and nephews, Angela and Adam, Ashley and Patrick, Adam and Amy, Alex, Trent, Steph and Kiefer, Troy and Mack, and her great nieces Addison, Ryleigh, and Pearl, as well as her great nephews Emery, Everett, and Myles.
Barb devoted many years of her life to working at A&P and Metro, where she made lasting connections with colleagues and customers alike.
She had a deep love for animals, especially her pugs, and found immense happiness in their companionship. All dogs and cats loved Barb, as much as she loved them.
Known for her jokes, storytelling, and infectious laugh, she had a knack for brightening every room — there was never a dull moment with Barb. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of Barbra's Life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 2-4pm. Family Tributes will be said at 3pm. Interment at a later date with her parents in Curries, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association or the CMHA would be appreciated by the family.
