Obituary of Rosemary Elizabeth Swift
Swift (nee Burnett), Rosemary
Suddenly at her residence, on July 20, 2024, Rosemary Swift passed away at the age of 71.
She was the beloved wife of 15 years of the late George Swift (2010). Rosemary was an incredible sister to David (Jackie) Burnett, Larry (Margaret) Burnett, and Susan (Larry) Osborn. She was a dear aunt to John Burnett, Jennifer Burnett-Woods, and Ian Burnett, and will be deeply missed by a large and loving extended family, and many friends. She is now reunited with her late mom Jean Hoyle, and dad, Thomas Burnett.
She was a woman who loved her family and friends more than anything else. Rosemary’s family greatly appreciates the incredible efforts by her two support workers who went over and above, providing care and assistance at the time of her passing.
Friends and family will be received at the Evans Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 10
am-12 pm. A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held in the Evans Chapel at 12 pm. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Rosemary’s name are asked to consider the Alice Saddy Association, for whom her family is incredibly grateful for all their years of support.
