Obituary of Laura Mae Douglas

Peacefully, on August 16, 2024, Laura Mae Douglas passed away at the age of 86. 

She was the beloved wife of the late D. Ivan Douglas.  Dear mother of Nancy (Randy), Janet (the late Ron), Darrell, and the late Ronnie.  Dear step-mother of Murray (Sharon), Brenda (Andrew), Nancy, Don and Glen.  Laura will be missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her grandson Richard Maisonville, her step-daughters Marilyn and Shirley, her parents Norwood and Sadie Campbell of P.E.I, and her sister Kay Jansenberger. 

Friends and Family will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Thursday, August 22, from 11am-1pm.  Funeral Service to follow in the Evans Chapel at 1 pm.  Burial Strathroy Cemetery.  Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Laura’s name are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.
