Obituary of Vasiliki Demetriou
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vasiliki (Beth) Demetriou, who departed peacefully with her family by her side, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Beth was the beloved wife of Leontios (Leo) Demetriou, with whom she shared over 50 years of unwavering love and companionship. Together, they built a life rich in family, warmth, and countless joyful moments. Beth was the devoted mother of Ted Papadopoulos (Fani) and Jim Demetriou (Patrizia) who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Her love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her grandchildren, Victoria Pelekanos (Dino), Billy, Claudia, Sophia, and Leo. They were the light of her life, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with them—sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Beth was known for her vibrant spirit and the way she brought joy to everyone around her. She had an incredible sense of humor, always ready with a playful joke or a kind word that could bring a smile to anyone's face. She also loved to cook, filling her home with warmth and the aroma of meals made with love. Her laughter filled every room she entered, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness to all who knew her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a proud mother, and a doting grandmother who made everyone feel special with her kindness and warmth. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
May her memory be eternal, and may her soul rest in peace.
