Obituary of K.C. Craig Stainton
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Craig Stainton at LHSC, University Hospital on Friday, October 11th, 2024 at the age of 69.
Beloved spouse of Phil Graves. Cherished brother of Nancy (Jim) Kemp and Brent Stainton. Dear uncle of Haley Kemp (Brandon), Jaime Kemp (Peter), Todd Stainton, Ashley Stainton (Cam) and Paula Stainton. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Joan M. Stainton (née Poole) (2015) & Kenneth M. Stainton (2004).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of the I.C.U. at LHSC, University Hospital for all their care and support.
Craig loved classic cars and will be fondly remembered for his involvement in numerous non-profit organizations throughout the years along with his kind and loving nature.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6-9 pm.
Private funeral service will be held.
Interment in Zion Hill/7th Line Cemetery, Thamesford, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make memorial donations are asked to consider the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre (formerly London Regional Cancer Program) or The Palace Theatre London Youth Theatre Education (LYTE) program, London Ontario.
