Dear Aaron, Kara and Lucas
Recently I became aware of the passing of your dad. I offer my deepest condolences. While it has been many years since we were in contact I have many memories of time spent with your dad. He had a marvelous sense of humour. One particular evening my husband and I joined a dinner that occurred at Chi-Chi's. Your dad was wearing a beautiful, crisp, white shirt. A member of staff came around the corner and spilt tomato sauce on your dad. They apologized and we all moved on. Then about 5 minutes later another member of the staff walked by and dumped some tomato based entree on your dad. Again, he was a good sport and took it in stride. Then, I swear this is true, it happened a third time! Your dad at that point could not contain himself and erupted with laughter and asked if he had been singled out. The team at Chi-Chi's were most apologetic. It was a very funny evening and highlights the good nature and humour that your dad possessed. May memories like this ease the darkness.
