Obituary of Bruce Raymond Switzer
Peacefully, at home, with family by his side, on Monday, January 25, 2016, Bruce passed away in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Johnna Switzer & the late Carolyn Switzer (1988). Loving father of Rob (Tracey) Switzer, step-father of April Medley and grandfather of many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Doug (Doreen) & sister-in-law Winnifred Switzer. Bruce will be remembered by the Lawrence Family and many close friends, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by brothers Merrill (Lillian) & Willis and sister Eva (Clifford).
Bruce worked 29 years for the City of London and after retirement he worked for Elgie Bus Lines & Benson Auto Parts.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 4212 Campbell St., Lambeth, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wilbert Unger officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
