Obituary of Alma Corbett

After a lengthy battle, Alma Corbett passed peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital, on February 23, 2013, at 11:30 am, in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband William Nathaniel Corbett(1999) after 58 years of marriage. She leaves behind her daughters Helen Heddle of Kitchener, and Elizabeth Corbett of London. She is also survived by her grandchildren Linda Marlene (Dave) Thompson, and Harold William Heddle, and her great-grandchild Drew Thompson. Alma was predeceased by her sister Helen (Ludwig) Schultz, her brother Adam Kirchner, and her son-in-law Harold Heddle. Visitation will be held at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block East of Egerton) on Friday March 1, 2013 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Evans Chapel on Saturday March 2, at 2 pm with visitation 1 hour prior. Friends who wish to make a donation in Alma’s memory are asked to consider the LHSC Victoria Hospital Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
