Obituary of Ethel Eva Davis (nee Cole)

Peacefully, at Kensington Village, on December 15, 2015. Ethel passed away in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Albert Davis (1969) & longtime partner of Cecil Shearing (2006). Loving mother of Susan, Paul, Clayton (Pat), Brian (Brenda) and predeceased by daughter Shirley Dingwell and sons Larry & Rick. Beloved mother-in-law of Orrene, Mary, Troy, Teresa & Susan. Dear grandmother of Andrea, Jacqueline, Jamie, Kim, Martin, Nicole, Jody, Vicky, Jan, Sarah, Natalie, Ashley, Joshua, Catherine, Jeff and many great-grandchildren. Will also be remembered by many nieces & nephews. Dear sister of Violet (Ralph) Cook & sister-in-law of Alberta Cole and predeceased by brothers Fred (Sadie) Cole, Lloyd (Audrey) Cole, Glen (Lois) Cole, Harold Cole, Earl Cole and sisters Ellen (Joe) Morgan, Ida (Ed) Longmire & Doris (Roy) Lightfoot. Special thanks to all the nurses & staff at Kensington Village for their compassionate care to Ethel for the past 5 years and to granddaughter Natalie for all her love & care to Grandma. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. (visitation from 12-1pm). Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
