Obituary of Barbara "Joan" Giles

Peacefully, with family by her side at L.H.S.C.-Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, Barbara Joan Giles passed away at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Walter Benjamin Giles. Loving mother of the late Bill (Sue), John (Dale), Denise (Bob), Jim (Sharon), Walter and Caroline. Barbara leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Forever in the hearts of her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Justine & Gordana (P.S.W.) for all their loving care and all the nurses of L.H.S.C.-Victoria Hospital-I.C.U., you are all truly this earths angels. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Monday, December 14th, 2015 from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Monday, December 14th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of ashes will be held at Grove Cemetery, London, Ontario at a later date.
