Obituary of Brian Victor Hobbs
Passed away peacefully, in his 77th year, at Victoria Hospital on November 30th, 2015. Beloved Husband of Josephine Catharine (Johnson), for 51 years. He was son to Roy & Gladys (Richardson) Hobbs (deceased). Loving father of Scott Hobbs & his wife Debbie Ward and his two daughters Randi Proulx and Alyssa Crowley, and Michael & Tina Hobbs and their children Cassandra, Cameron & Drew. Survived by sisters-in-law Erie (Laverne) Shipley, Jean (Vic) Johnson, brother-in-law Jack (Shirley) Johnson and close family friends Pat & Beth Wendover and their children Laura & Tammy. Brian will be remembered by his extended family and friends.
Brian was as longtime member of the Canadian Corps Unit #12 and the Royal Canadian Legion, Duchess of Kent #263.
Visitation will be held at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd, London, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
A service under the auspices of the Canadian Corps Unit #12 will be held at the Evans Funeral Home Friday at 7pm.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations on behalf of Brian Hobbs can be mailed to London Poppy Fund, c/o Duchess of Kent Legion, 499 Hill St., London, N6B 1E8, or the Boys & Girls Club of London, 184 Horton St., London, N6B 1K8, would be appreciated by the family.
