Obituary of Fernando J. Cordeiro, (Sr.)

Peacefully, at Strathroy General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Monday, October 26, 2015, Fernando Cordeiro Sr. passed away in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria da Conceiçaõ Cordeiro (February 2015) for 64 years. Loving father of Jose, Fernando Jr., Eduardo, Antonio, Carlos, Joaõ, Francisco, Margarida (deceased), Celeste, Esmeralda, Lucia & Zenaide. Remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews in Canada, USA & Portugal. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm Prayers in the Evans Chapel Tuesday at 3pm. Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 10 Elm St. (at Hamilton Rd.), on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. (Parking available at the Evans Funeral Home 1 block west of the church). Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
