Obituary of Albert Paul MacLellan
Glace Bay, NS – London, ON
With broken hearts and profound loss, the family of Albert Paul MacLellan (Abe), announce his peaceful passing, in his 56th year, at home Sunday, September 30 2012. Born in Glace Bay, NS, Albert was the youngest son of twelve children born to the late Norman & Dorothy MacLellan.
Much loved brother of James (Donna) of Glace Bay, NS, Bobby (Joanne), Shirley (John), Mamie (Fred-deceased), Flora (Keith) all of London, ON, Diane of Glace Bay, NS and Darlene (Joe) of Savona, BC. Predeceased by his sister Willena (Sept 2012), brothers, Roddie, Charlie and John Norman. A Loved and Special Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Abe will be deeply missed by friends and family starting from Bridgeport, Cape Breton to British Columbia. Albert’s love and selfless dedication to his family also extended to his work family at L.H.S.C. where he was a friend to all and happily employed for over 30 years.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation on Wednesday from 6-9pm. A celebration of Albert’s life will take place at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London (1 block east of Egerton) on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
