Obituary of Robert Arthur "Bobby" MacLellan
Suddenly after a short & courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side, Bobby passed away in his 76th year at Victoria Hospital on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Born in Glace Bay, N.S., one of twelve children born to the late Norman & Dorothy MacLellan. Devoted & much loved husband & best friend of Joanne and father of Bobbi-Jo & Tara of London, Brenda of Halifax, NS, and Kathy of Moncton, NB. Very loved Grandpa to Zackery Robert MacLellan and grandfather of Rachelle, Eddie & Amanda. Much loved brother of James (Donna) of Glace Bay, NS, Shirley (John), Mamie (Fred-deceased), Flora (Keith) all of London, ON, Diane of Glace Bay, NS, and Darlene (Joe) of BC. Predeceased by sister Willena and brothers Albert Paul, John Norman, Charlie & Roddie. Bobby will be remembered by his many nieces & nephews.
Bobby proudly served in the Canadian Army & Navy for 20 years and was a longtime employee of the London Commissionaires and Victoria Hospital.
A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. (Visitation from 2-3pm).
