Obituary of Joan Mary Stainton
Peacefully, March 24, 2015, Joan M. Stainton (Poole), lifelong resident of Highbury Avenue North, Arva, passed away. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Milton Stainton (2004) for 69 years. Loving mother of K.C. Craig & his partner Phil Graves of Arva, Nancy J. & her husband Jim Kemp of Toronto and Brent F. of Arva. Devoted grandmother of Jaime & Haley Kemp of Toronto and Todd, Ashley & Paula Stainton of Arva. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Stainton, Darlene Howard, Lynwood Stainton, Robert Stutt & Norman Watterton. Aunt Joan will be missed by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edwin Charles & Mary (Kennett) Poole and her sisters Eleanor & Patricia.
Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Zion United Church (Clarke Rd. & Medway Rd.), on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Pam Wilcox officiating. Private Committal in Zion 7th Line Cemetery to follow. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
