Obituary of Donald Stanley McCarty

After a brief illness, Don passed away in his 81st year at Victoria Hospital on Monday, March 23, 2015. Beloved son of the late Ivan & Lenora McCarty. Father of Stanley McCarty & Georgina O’Brien (Fisher) and dear brother of Dave McCarty, Nathalee (Raymond) Daamen and brother-in-law of Helen & Judy. Predeceased by brother Garnet & sister Doreen. Don is survived by many nieces & nephews. Don’s family would like to give special thanks to all of his neighbors & friends for all of their special care & assistance given to Don over the years. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. (visitation from 10-11am). Cremation to follow with interment in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Lung Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
