Obituary of Barbara Ann Roberts

Peacefully, after a valiant battle with cancer, at Parkwood Hospital with family by her side, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, Barb (McKay) passed away in her 71st year. Beloved wife of 45 years to the late Alf Roberts (2008). Loving mother of Brenda, Rick (Tanya) and Bonnie (Wayne). "Grandma" to Shawn (Allison), Tyson (Carli), Lindsay & Raelyn, and great-grandmother of Cameron, Braedon, Makayla & Noah. Dear sister of Ken, Brent & Brian. Remembered by close family friends Karen Hodge & Danny Owens. Also survived by her nieces, nephews & her amazing close friends. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Thursday from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Church of the Ascension, 2060 Dundas St. E., on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev’d Canon June Hough officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre, Hospice of London or Parkwood Hospital – Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
