Beverly Bodtker

Obituary of Beverly Anne Bodtker

With sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of Beverly Bodtker on April 1, 2011. Bev passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a long courageous battle with cancer that she handled with dignity and without complaint. Beloved wife of Paul Bodtker for more than 50 years. The proud mother of Brenda Baird (Don) of Moonestone and Kimberly Molloy (Mike) of London. Dearly loved and missed by her grandchildren Ryan and Carly Molloy. Bev is remembered by her sisters Judy Lipfert of Parkhill and Debbie Dobbs of St. Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Lulu Edwards and Earl Russell, her sister Audrey Bowden and brother Fred Russell. Bev was a longtime employee of Bendix. Over the past years Bev has volunteered most of her time at Tweedsmuir Public School where Ryan and Carly attended. Her life was filled with devotion to the love and joy of her family. The family would like to thank the staff at The Village of Glendale Crossing (Brighton) for their kindness and extended care. Sincere thanks to Dr. Collins, Dr. Clarke, Dr. Malik, Dr. Faulds and the wonderful staff of the palliative care unit at Parkwood Hospital for making her comfortable and allowing her to pass quietly and in peace. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the LHSC Cancer Program or to the Tweedsmuir Home and School Association (349 Tweedsmuir Ave., N5W 1L5) would be appreciated. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca Services:
