Obituary of Elisabeth Ruth Nadeau

Peacefully, with family by her side, at Highview Residence, London, Ontario, on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, Elisabeth passed away in her 78th year after a lengthy and courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Predeceased by husbands Bruce Hurt (1971) and John Nadeau (1986). Loving mother of Eva (Jason) Sumpton of London, Ontario & Michael Hurt, and step-mother of Richard (Rosemary) Nadeau & Barbara (Troy) Travis all of the Vancouver area. Proud ‘Omi’ of Lucas, Jade, Zachary, Aaron, Mary & Shalako. Beloved sister of Karl (Leslie) Schirmer and Lora (the late Dale) Lorenz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & lifelong friends. Elisabeth was a lifelong English teacher, avid traveller & opera buff. A Celebration of her Life will be held in Vancouver at a later date. Donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
