Obituary of Deborah Ann Cecilia Leonard

Deborah Ann Cecilia Leonard was “Promoted to Glory” on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at the age of 60, at Parkwood Hospital, following a battle with cancer. Beloved wife for 40 years of the Reverend Peter Leonard, loving mother and “Granny” of: Peter and Enza, Michelle and Jason (Sean, Gavin and Olivia), Mary-Ann and John (Bazil); and beloved aunt to Pamela and Jonathon and their families. Deborah will be greatly missed by the extended families of Leonards, Sheas and Royals. Much of Deborah’s life was devoted to her love for children and youth in her home, her community and her church. In fond remembrance of this devotion to children, donations may be made to the All Saints Youth Fund, in lieu of flowers. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, on Sunday, July 26 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A celebration of Deborah’s life will be Monday, July 27, 2009 at All Saints Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Road, London, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation and private family interment at a later date.
